Roles &Responsibilities:
- Own the Responsibility of the project and use project’s best practices and coding standards
- Prepare and help team to do the design and should have a very good understanding of the project architecture.
- Conduct peer review and provide feedback to team members.
- Remove the technical impediments.
- Update regular associates RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of project and discuss the Red cases on the immediate basis with the project manager to help the manager in the attrition management
- Conduct project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the PM at the project level
- Constantly looking for ways to increase the team’s velocity/productivity by eliminates the waste.
- Assist project manager in the project coordination/management and Promptly escalate issues to the reporting manager
- Target – Zero production defect proactively react with the detailed written explanation
- Write quality code, set an example of quality in front of the team members
- Gain the team’s respect with the quality of your work.
- Set reasonable expectations in front of the team and Should have design vision and understanding
- Mentor people and raise the education level of your team to Quality with on time delivery of agreed deliverable
- Act as a point of technical escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle as it relates to technical decisions
- Assist the technical manager with scoping, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project-specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.
- Proactively work with manager to ensure that appropriate staffing resources are assigned, put in place, and effectively utilized at the appropriate time.
- Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed, and regressed.
- Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate team members.
Qualifications& Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, or a graduate in engineering or equivalent.
- Must have 8 to 10 years’ experience in java/j2ee Application along with hands on coding experience.
- Must have 4-5 years of experience as a Technical lead.
Knowledge&Skills Required:
- Must have experience in Core Java, J2EE, Web service, AJAX, Struts, Spring,
- Hibernate, Design Patterns, Oracle, MySQL, Tomcat, Eclipse, SVN, Maven, PL/SQL.
- Must have experience in project estimation and must be aware of at least one industry standard estimation technique.
- Exposure to PDF and excel report generation using java will be added advantage.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Ability to work within a collaborative environment, multi-tasking.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
